The SAGES–2 is an assessment for identifying students from ages 5 to 14 years who are gifted in academics and reasoning. Frequently used with the Torrance® Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT), SAGES–2 simplifies assessment for the gifted through small group or individual administration.

SAGES–2 consists of three subtests: mathematics/science, language arts/social studies, and reasoning. The subtests may be administered at different times and on different days, if desirable. The scoring produces raw scores, percentiles, and quotients for both populations of gifted and nongifted students.
