  • Group Median National Percentile Chart—By Grade compare national percentiles to the average achievement of a group by grade (one copy).
  • Performance Profiles are individual diagnostic profiles. They are generated for each student and report his or her scores, identify corresponding national and local norms, and give information about performance on skills within each subtest (two copies). Performance Profile Group Summary is included at no additional cost.
  • Student Score Report is a one-page report provided for an individual student and his/her parents or guardian. This report provides a graphic representation of the student’s “National Percentile Rank” for each cognitive skills subtest taken, each basic skill taken, and other areas taken. In addition, the report provides a detailed explanation for “What the Test Measures” and “What the Score for Each Test Means.” The individual student’s cognitive skills quotient (CSQ) and grade scores (GS) are provided within this section with a brief description for each (one copy).
  • Narrative Reports are take-home reports that provide an easy-to-understand explanation of scores (two copies).
  • Rank-Order List Reports arrange students from high to low based on their composite scores (two copies).
  • Individual Item Analysis Reports show item-by-item responses for each student. They can be formatted to have a letter or a minus sign represent a wrong answer. These reports show mastery, partial-mastery, and nonmastery for each objective and include an “objective/skills outline.” Individual Item Analysis Reports are available for basic skills, science, social studies, and reference skills subtests (two copies).
  • Group Item Analysis Reports show the summary for the group average. They can be formatted to have a letter or a minus sign represent a wrong answer. Group Item Analysis Reports are available for basic skills, science, social studies, and reference skills subtests (two copies).
  • Computer Disks and CD-ROMs contain information found on the student labels provided with the Standard Scoring Service. Other information may be added at an additional charge. All floppy disk files are ASCII text files.
  • At your request—and in advance of your test date—STS will provide a copy of an EDSERIES test in large print.
  • Writing and Speaking Assessments elicit narrative, persuasive, and expository essays from students. The assessments are dependent on prompts that may be provided by STS or by a school. Holistic and analytic scoring and reporting are used to assess a student’s performance. Please contact STS for more information.
